3. MAKLUMAT PROGRAM IJAZAH SARJANA MUDA PERGURUAN (PISMP)
3.1 Program ini dikhususkan untuk melatih guru-guru di Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) dalam pelbagai bidang bagi keperluan di sekolah rendah.
3.2 Sebagai prasyarat, calon dikehendaki mengikuti Kursus Persediaan selama satu tahun enam bulan di Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) yang ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia.
3.3 Calon perlu lulus Kursus Persediaan sebelum ditawarkan untuk mengikuti Program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Perguruan selama empat tahun di Institut Pendidikan Guru untuk
Pendidikan Rendah.

4. CARA MEMOHON
4.1 Permohonan hanya boleh dibuat secara atas talian (online) dengan melayari laman Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia di alamat : http://www.moe.gov.my mulai 08 Februari 2010.
4.2 Permohonan atas talian boleh dibuat dengan menggunakan Nombor Pengenalan Individu (PIN) yang boleh dibeli di Bank Simpanan Nasional di seleuruh negara dengan bayaran RM 6.00 (Ringgit Malaysia Enam sahaja) melalui saluran kaunter, ATM dan perbankan Sistem Maklumat Ringkas (SMS).
4.3 Pemohon dinasihatkan melayari laman sesawang tersebut bagi mendapatkan maklumat iklan, bidang pengkhususan dan gred minimum serta kalendar aktiviti sebelum membuat permohonan.
4.4 Calon dibenarkan mengemukakan SATU permohonan sahaja.
4.5 Calon boleh menggunakan nombor PIN yang sama untuk membuat pindaan butiran kepada permohonan yang telah dihantar. Pindaan butiran permohonan dihadkan tiga kali sahaja dan hendaklah dibuat sebelum tarikh tutup permohonan.
4.6 Maklumat yang tidak benar dan tidak lengkap boleh mengakibatkan permohonan ditolak.

7. MAKLUMAN DAN PERHATIAN
7.1 Calon yang dipanggil temu duga dikehendaki menduduki ujian Inventori Sahsiah Keguruan (INSAK) semasa menghadiri temu duga.
7.2 Pemilihan calon untuk mengikuti kursus perguruan adalah bergantung kepada kedudukan pencapaian merit skor akademik, prestasi dan temu duga dan keputusan ujian INSAK. Keputusan oleh Jawatankuasa Pemilihan aalah muktamad.
7.3 Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia berhak menawarkan program atau bidang pengajian bukan pilihan dan menempatkan calon yang berjaya di mana-mana Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG).
7.4 Calon dinasihatkan menyemak status permohonan mereka dari semasa ke semasa untuk status panggilan temu duga dan juga tawaran ke IPG yang ditetapkan.
7.5 Tiada surat menyurat dikeluarkan untuk panggilan temu duga. Segala perbelanjaan dan risiko menghadiri temu duga adalah tanggungjawab calon sendiri.
7.6 Surat tawaran rasmi bagi calon yang berjaya akan diserahkan di IPG yang ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia setelah calon melapor diri di IPG.

8. PENDAFTARAN
Calon-calon yang ditawarkan untuk mengikuti Kursus Persediaan akan mendaftar di Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) paa 28 Jun 2010 (tarikh tertakluk kepada pindaan). Calon yang telah ditemu duga dan tidak menerima sebarang maklumat dalam tempoh satu (1) bulan selepas tarikh pendaftaran adalah dianggap tidak berjaya. Bahagian ini tidak akan mengeluarkan maklumat secara bersurat kepada calon.

9. IKATAN PERJANJIAN PENDIDIKAN GURU

Calon yang ditawarkan mengikuti kursus di Institut Pendidikan Guru adalah tertakluk kepada ikatan Perjanjian Pendidikan Guru seperti yang telah ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia. Calon hendaklah bersetuju dan patuh dengan kontrak perjanjian untuk berkhidmat di mana-mana sekolah atau institusi pendidikan termasuk di kawasan pedalaman seperti yang diarahkan oleh pihak kerajaan setelah tamat berkursus.

AMCHAM-MACEE Scholarship

AMCHAM created a scholarship endowment program in 1998 to benefit deserving Malaysian students planning to pursue their undergraduate studies in the United States. The AMCHAM-MACEE 2010 Scholarship awards a US$20,000 scholarship, covering four years of undergraduate study in the United States ($5000.00/year renewable for four years subject to meeting the specified conditions). The scholarship is open to qualified Malaysian students who are accepted to an accredited university in the United States for four years of study culminating in a Bachelors degree. The student must be accepted for Fall semester, 2010.

ELGIBILITY
Malaysian Students who have completed SPM, O Levels, STPM or A Levels.
Secondary school results must be translated into English, certified as ta true copy and submitted with the application.
TOEFL and SAT scores must be submitted, IF they are required by the U.S. university to which the student is applying to.
Two letters of recommendation.
Certified copy of IC or Malaysian Passport.
Prior acceptance into U.S. university/college.
Certified copy of acceptance letter or certified copy of I-20 from U.S. university/college.

CRITERIA

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
a. The scholarship shall be in the form of full tuition fee waiver for the entire duration of the course.
b. The scholarship is for students to pursue courses in Malaysia only, at participating institutions. The scholarship specifically does not cover any fees etc. which may relate to studies overseas.
c. The scholarship shall be for the duration of the course and may be between one and four years. Students already enrolled at participating institutions may also apply. The students’ scholarship shall be for the remaining part of their course.
d. theSun-MAPCU Higher Education Scholarship Fund holder shall not receive any scholarship offered by other educational institutions or organizations.
e. On all matters pertaining to theSun-MAPCU Higher Education Scholarship Fund, the decision(s) of theSun-MAPCU Higher Education Scholarship Fund Awarding Committee (and relevant participating institution, as appropriate) shall be final and binding.
f. Applicants may apply for scholarships to a maximum of two institutions, but are entitled to only one scholarship.
g. Scholarship recipients are also subjected to other terms and conditions as may be decided by the participating institutions.

Intel PDC grants R&D scholarships every year to outstanding students from local universities throughout the country.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Intel Penang Design Center Scholarship, an applicant must:

Be a Malaysian citizen

Be a full-time student in a local university studying in the fields of Electrical and Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering

Edinburgh Global Undergraduate Scholarships

Up to 10 undergraduate scholarships are offered to students for undergraduate study in any subject offered by the University of Edinburgh. The scholarships will be worth £1,000 per year and will be tenable for the duration of the programme of study.

Eligibility
The scholarships are competitive and will be awarded to students who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for undergraduate study at the University of Edinburgh. Applicants must be nationals of one of the following countries:

* Canada
* Hong Kong
* Japan
* Malaysia
* Singapore
* South Africa
* Thailand

The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit.
The scholarship is not available to students already on programme.

Shell Scholarship 2010
Every year, Shell offer a number of scholarships to support students in achieving their personal goals and ambitions. The scholarship is awarded to Malaysian students for pursuing full-time undergraduate studies (1st degree course) tenable at recognized universities in Malaysia or overseas, and Pre-University studies in Malaysia. In addition, Shell also award 2 scholarships to study Msc in Geosciences with University Technology Petronas Scholarships for Post-Graduate Studies.

Eligibility

Excellent academic achievement with emphasis in English
Demonstration of leadership skills through active participation in extra-curricular activities. e.g. societies and clubs, sports, etc.
Strong academic record and realistic expectation of a high CGPA or its equivalent
For MSc in Geosciences, candidate must posses a good Honours Degree or equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized university.
Applicants who are Malaysian citizens must possess a credit in Bahasa Melayu at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or an equivalent qualification. Foreign and local students are required to have English proficiency in both written and spoken by the meeting one the following requirements:

Minimum TOEFL score of 550 OR
Minimum IELTS score of 6.0 OR
Minimum ELTS score of Band-6 OR
Minimum MUET score of Band-4.
Applicants who are native English speakers or holding a degree with English as the medium of instruction may be exempted from this requirement.

MY FM Magnum GRANT PROGRAMME

Airtime Management and Programming Sdn Bhd (AMP) being part of ASTRO All ASIA BROADCAST Plc (ASTRO) strongly believe that education is one of the ways to assist and help the people to better themselves and to build a greater future for their families, community and ultimately for their country. It is with this firm believe that AMP through its radio station “MY FM” together with Magnum Corporation Berhad (Magnum) establishes this Programme to provide financial assistance for young outstanding Chinese Malaysian students to continue performing well in schools.

The goal of the Programme is to promote academic excellence by providing outstanding students, who are in need of financial assistance, the opportunity to reach their full potential in the future. This Programme provides a grant of RM 5,000.00 (“Grant”) towards the successful recipient which can be used by the recipient to go towards his/her tuition fees and/or other educational expenses or personal needs. Four successful recipients will be chosen in 4 quarters to receive the grant and announcements will be made through MY FM (on air and on line). It is a one off payment mainly to reward the recipient and to assist them financially. This payment will be issued by cheque.

AMP, MY FM and Magnum hope that this Programme will lessen the recipient’s financial burden and encourage & supports the recipient to complete their education.

Eligibility

The Programme is offered to all Malaysian citizens below the age of 25 years old (at the time of application or submission).
The applicant must be a fulltime student studying in public colleges or university (which has been accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia) and /or have gained admission to pursue a degree or a diploma course at the respective public colleges as a fulltime student at the date of application or submission.
An applicant must have a strong academic background and have demonstrated caring and leadership abilities through participation in school or community service activities, extracurricular or other social or school activities.
An applicant must not be bonded, sponsored by any other organizations or private institutions. Financial or other assistance received from the Welfare Department and/or other charitable organization does not fall under this prohibition.
An applicant can only receive the Grant once but they are allowed to re-apply if they are not successful in their earlier application and/or submission.

Scholarships for the needy

I wish to offer scholarships to 50 poor students for the next academic year to study finance and accountancy in University TAR, Kampar, Perak on the following conditions:-

1. Each student’s family income should not be more than Rm 2,000 per month.
2. Students will be selected more on the basis of their financial need and not merely on their academic achievement.
3. Each scholarship is worth Rm 20,000 which should be enough for each student to cover the cost for the first year foundation course and the first semester of the degree course in finance and accountancy until he or she secures the PTPTN loan. This Government loan is given to all students irrespective of race and financial position who are doing a recognised degree course.
4. Students who receive my financial aid do not require to pay back the money or work for me after they graduate. But I want them to promise me that they will help other poor students when they have graduated and are financially solvent.

UTAR takes in students in January and June every year. Students who are currently doing SPM can submit their applications to U TAR this October with their forecast results to start in January 2010.

HELP University College Scholarship Awards 2010

HELP welcomes applications from high academic achievers for Scholarship and Study Awards
from both new and continuing students.

In addition, HELP also provides Financial Assistance to students (HELP University College students only)
who are facing financial difficulties but who are not eligible for scholarship awards based on academic
achievements. The financial assistance will take the form of an interest-free study loan, which is granted
at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee and is intended to assist you in financing your studies at HELP.

HELP is pleased to announce the following Awards for year 2010:
Full Scholarship, Partial Scholarship and Study Awards

If you meet the minimum criteria stated, please:

1. Complete a HELP Scholarship Application Form and attach certified copies of your academic results.

2. New Students are required to submit a HELP Application Form to apply for the chosen programme
and make the minimum payment of RM100 of the Student Application Fee.

3. New Students will submit the form and attachments to the Scholarships Officer in the Registry
before the specified deadline.

4. For consideration by the Scholarship Committee in April and September of each year, scholarship

understand the implications of HELP University College’s Financial Assistance Scheme.

2. Complete a HELP Scholarship Application Form indicating clearly on the form that you are applying
for financial assistance.

3. Attach a covering letter from your financial sponsor outlining all relevant circumstances together
with a certified copy of his/her latest EA Form/ Borang J.

4. Submit the application form to the Scholarships Officer in the Registry before the specified deadline.
5. Your form will be forwarded to the Scholarship Committee for consideration within 1 week after
the closing date. Factors taken into account will include your financial sponsor’s total household
income and the number of other dependants in the household.

6. Upon approval of your application, you and your legal guardian will be required to sign the study loan agreement.
